Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The precinct's most gifted and most laid-back detective

KINONOOK / EN

A closer look at the story

Jake Peralta is one of the most talented detectives in a New York police precinct, with the highest arrest rate on the team. But however good he is at his job, he is just as far from being serious about it: he and the rules do not get along, and he never gives an inch on his easygoing attitude. That changes when a new commanding officer is assigned to the precinct. Convinced that his officers must live up to the badge, the new boss starts with Jake and forces him to shape up. The clash sparks countless comic situations in the daily life not only of Jake but of the whole colourful squad of wildly different detectives, including Amy, Terry, Charles and Rosa. Created by Daniel J. Goor and Michael Schur, the series began on FOX in 2013, continued on NBC and wrapped up after 8 seasons and 152 episodes; Andy Samberg, Melissa Fumero and Terry Crews star in this police comedy.
