Editorial Policy
How content is written, checked and corrected at KinoNook.
This page explains the principles behind the text, news and roundups on KinoNook.
Accuracy
Facts such as a title's name, year, running time, cast and release date are compiled from several sources and checked before publication. We do not publish information we cannot verify, and we say so when something is missing.
Originality
Our text is our own. It is not copied from other sites; summaries and descriptions are written afresh.
Uncertainty in news
For upcoming titles, dates, casts and details can change. Our news notes that dates can differ by country and marks uncertain information with phrases such as "according to reports".
Spoiler policy
Content that gives away the plot is marked with a spoiler label and hidden by default. Members are expected to mark spoilers in their reviews and discussions.
Advertising and editorial
Editorial content is kept separate from advertising. Sponsored or promotional content is clearly labelled.
Images
Posters and promotional images are shown to promote the title in question and belong to their rights holders. A rights holder who wants an image removed can send the request to [email protected].
Corrections
Send error reports to [email protected] or use the contribution form on title pages. Verified errors are corrected, and significant corrections are noted on the article.
