Tulsa King

A closer look at the story

Dwight Manfredi, known as "The General", is one of the respected names of the New York mafia. He has spent 25 years behind bars. When he gets out of prison, though, his reward is not what he expected: his boss all but brushes him off, exiling him to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and telling him to set up a new operation there. Realising that his mob family does not really have his interests at heart, Dwight decides to carve out his own path in this unfamiliar city. Step by step, he builds a crew of his own made up of colourful characters. Created by Taylor Sheridan and streaming on Paramount+ since 2022, this crime dramedy stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight, with Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany also in the cast.
