Kill Bill: Vol. 1

A closer look at the story

The woman known as the Bride was once part of Bill's lethal squad of assassins. At her own wedding she is gunned down and left for dead by her former boss and the other members of the group. When she comes out of a coma four years later, she has only one aim: to track down every one of the people who did this to her, one by one, and finally reach the last name on her list, Bill. She did not start this bloody feud, but she is determined to finish it. Tarantino's fourth feature as writer-director, this 111-minute 2003 film stars Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Daryl Hannah and David Carradine in a stylised revenge thriller.
