Toy Story 2

A closer look at the story

With Andy away at a cowboy camp, his toys are left to their own devices. Those quiet days come to an end when Al McWhiggin, an obsessive collector who owns a toy store, kidnaps Woody. Led by Buzz Lightyear, the toys launch a daring mission to rescue their friend. Meanwhile, at Al's place, Woody meets new faces such as Jessie and the Prospector and confronts truths about his own past that he never knew. Now he has to choose between his old friends and his new ones, and decide where his heart truly belongs. Directed by John Lasseter, the 92-minute 1999 animated film, which adds Joan Cusack as Jessie and Kelsey Grammer as the Prospector to the voice cast, is a warm adventure about friendship.
