Ant-Man follows Scott Lang, a skilled thief fresh out of prison who wants nothing more than to be a better father to his daughter Cassie, yet struggles to find steady work. Everything changes when he meets the scientist Dr. Hank Pym, who takes him under his wing. Hank entrusts Scott with an extraordinary suit that shrinks its wearer while boosting his strength, and that also lets him communicate with ants. The secret behind the suit has to be kept from Darren Cross, Hank's former colleague, who is building a dangerous weapon system known as Yellowjacket. Facing odds that look impossible, Scott and his mentor must devise and carry out a heist that could save the world. Peyton Reed directed this 117-minute science-fiction adventure from 2015, written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, alongside Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and Bobby Cannavale.
