Alien: Romulus

A closer look at the story

A small group of young space colonists begins combing through the farthest reaches of an old space station that seems to have been abandoned, hoping to find something they can use. For Rain, Andy, Tyler, Kay, Bjorn and Navarro, it is supposed to be nothing more than a quick, profitable salvage run. But none of them has the faintest idea of what is really happening on the station. As they make their way down its dark corridors, the group comes up against the most frightening life form in the universe, and staying alive soon proves far harder than simply finding a way off the station. Directed by Fede Álvarez, who wrote it with Rodo Sayagues, the 119-minute 2024 film stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux and Isabela Merced in a science-fiction horror.
