A closer look at the story

In the basement of an ordinary furniture showroom, a strange door appears where no door should be. Nobody knows what lies behind it, but it soon becomes clear that it opens onto a dimension beyond the limits of reality. When a patient goes missing in this unknown realm, a therapist realises that the only way to bring the patient back is to follow. And so the therapist sets off on a perilous journey into a place no map shows and where logic no longer applies. With every step, the line between reality and nightmare grows a little more blurred. Directed by Kane Parsons and written by Will Soodik, the 111-minute 2026 film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Finn Bennett and Mark Duplass in a mystery horror.
