The Electric State
The Electric State: A teenage girl and a mysterious robot search for her lost brother
A closer look at the story
An orphaned teenage girl is determined to find the brother she lost touch with long ago. With that hope, she sets out on the road, accompanied by a most unexpected travelling companion: a mysterious robot. On the way, the pair cross paths with a sardonic, self-serving smuggler and his wisecracking sidekick. This utterly mismatched foursome is forced to carry on together on a long journey full of danger. Meeting a new obstacle at every stop, they begin to realise that following the lost brother's trail will uncover far bigger secrets than they imagined. From directors Joe and Anthony Russo, this 125-minute 2025 science-fiction adventure stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan and Jason Alexander.
