The Lorax
The Lorax: A legend to win the girl of his dreams
A closer look at the story
A twelve-year-old boy sets out in search of the one thing that could make the girl of his affections notice him. But the way to what he is looking for runs through a tale: the story of the Lorax. A grumpy yet thoroughly lovable forest creature, the Lorax fought to protect the world he lived in and shared the boundless power of hope with everyone. Inspired by Dr. Seuss's children's book, the film explores nature and hope in a colourful world. Directed by Chris Renaud, the 86-minute 2012 film features the voices of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron and Taylor Swift in a family animation.
