The Flash
The Flash: The cost of changing the past
A closer look at the story
As the fastest man alive, Barry Allen discovers that he can challenge even time itself. An intervention in the past meant to save his family, however, has consequences he never expected, and it inadvertently alters the future. Barry finds himself in an entirely different reality, a world where General Zod is back and there are no superheroes he can turn to for help. To save the world he is trapped in and get back to the future he knows, his only hope is to run for his life. Along the way he meets unexpected allies, among them a familiar yet different Batman and Kara Zor-El. Directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Christina Hodson, the 144-minute 2023 film stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Keaton and Michael Shannon in a superhero adventure.
