Five Nights at Freddy's

A closer look at the story

Recently fired and desperately looking for work, Mike is a troubled young man whose life is full of problems. He finally accepts the only opportunity that comes his way: taking the night shift as security at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, an abandoned former family entertainment restaurant. What looks at first like a boring but easy job takes a very different turn on Mike's very first night. He soon realises that at Freddy's, nothing is what it seems and that his shifts there will be anything but quiet. Directed by Emma Tammi, who wrote it with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback, the 110-minute 2023 film stars Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail and Matthew Lillard in a horror thriller.
