It Chapter Two

A closer look at the story

Twenty-seven years have passed since the Losers' Club defeated the malevolent entity known as Pennywise. The childhood friends are adults now, and most of them left Derry long ago to build lives of their own. But when children begin to vanish in the town once again, Mike, the only member who stayed, summons the others back with a devastating phone call. Worn down by the scars of the past, the friends return to Derry. To destroy Pennywise for good this time, each of them must confront their own deepest fear. Directed by Andy Muschietti from Gary Dauberman's adaptation of King's book, the 169-minute 2019 film stars Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader and Isaiah Mustafa in a horror film.
