Jupiter Ascending

A closer look at the story

Across a cosmos in which human DNA is the most prized resource there is, Jupiter Jones, a young woman living in poverty on Earth, is confronted with a destiny far beyond her ordinary life. Without knowing it, she lands in the middle of the strategic manoeuvres and internal feuding of a powerful dynasty, and she herself turns out to be the key to their struggle. Lana and Lilly Wachowski wrote and directed this 127-minute 2015 film, which stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne in a visually ambitious space fantasy.
