KINONOOK / EN

A closer look at the story

Finding Dory is a follow-up to Finding Nemo that hands the spotlight to the much-loved Dory. Dory is the loyal and famously forgetful companion who swam with Marlin from one side of the ocean to the other while he searched for his son. This time the tale is about her. Back together with Nemo and Marlin, Dory sets off after answers to questions that have gone unanswered for a long time. What can she actually remember about her past? Who are her mother and father? And where on earth did she pick up the ability to speak whale? Even though her memory keeps letting her down, Dory is determined to discover who she is and where she comes from, and Nemo and Marlin are there to help her. Andrew Stanton directed this 97-minute animated adventure from 2016, which he co-wrote with Victoria Strouse. Ellen DeGeneres voices Dory, Albert Brooks voices Marlin and Hayden Rolence voices Nemo, with Ed O'Neill as Hank and Diane Keaton as Jenny.
