Minions & Monsters

A closer look at the story

Minions & Monsters tells the wildest, silliest and supposedly completely true story the Minions have ever lived through. It all begins with our little yellow friends conquering Hollywood. Suddenly transformed into movie stars, the Minions revel in the fame, the lights and the applause. That glittering spell does not last, however; they lose everything they have. And it does not stop there: without realising it, the Minions let loose a whole crowd of monsters on the world. When the chaos they have created puts the planet in danger, the Minions do the only thing they can: they band together and try to save the world from the disaster they caused. Directed by Pierre Coffin, who wrote it with Brian Lynch, this 90-minute 2026 family animation once again features Pierre Coffin as the voice of the Minions, joined by Trey Parker, Christoph Waltz, Allison Janney and Jesse Eisenberg.
