Moana 2

A closer look at the story

Moana receives a call she never expected, from her wayfinding ancestors. It summons her out onto the vast ocean once again, but this time much further than before. With the demigod Maui and a new crew of very different sailors, Moana sets sail for the distant seas of Oceania. Their course leads into lost, perilous waters where no one has travelled for a very long time. Facing the waves, the unknown and her own limits alongside new companions such as Moni, Loto and Kele, Moana finds that this voyage becomes an adventure unlike anything she has met before. Directed by David G. Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, this 100-minute 2024 musical animation again features Auliʻi Cravalho as the voice of Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui.
