Guardians of the Galaxy

A closer look at the story

Taken from Earth twenty-six years ago, Peter Quill is now a thief making his own way light years from home. A mysterious orb he gets his hands on turns him into a marked man, pursued by Ronan the Accuser, who wants the object, and by plenty of others besides. On the run, he crosses paths with Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot, and although this odd crew trusts one another very little at first, a shared danger forces them to learn to stand on the same side. Directed by James Gunn, who co-wrote it with Nicole Perlman, the 121-minute 2014 film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña and Dave Bautista, with Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper as voices, in a witty space adventure.
