Yellowstone

A closer look at the story

Yellowstone takes viewers into the brutal domain of the Duttons, whose ranch is the largest single unbroken ranch in the country. At the head of this ranch, which sprawls across the vast lands of Montana, stands the family patriarch, John Dutton. But this great legacy is under attack from every direction: developers with their eyes on the land, the nearby reservation of Native Americans and the very first national park in the country all put relentless pressure on the Duttons' property. Surrounded by figures such as Kayce, Beth, Jamie and Rip, John will not shy away from even the darkest methods to defend every inch of the land his family owns. Created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson and airing on Paramount Network from 2018 for five seasons and 53 episodes, this modern western drama stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton.
