In the heart of Paris, wealthy Madame Adelaide Bonfamille decides to leave her entire fortune to her beloved high-society cat, Duchess, and Duchess's three kittens. The greedy butler, however, hatches a plot to get the money. He kidnaps the cats and abandons them on a deserted country road far from the city. Suddenly stranded in a world they know nothing about, Duchess and her kittens are close to losing hope when the wily alley cat Thomas O'Malley appears. O'Malley and his jazz-playing alley-cat friends help the aristocratic cats find their way home. Written by Ken Anderson and his team, the 78-minute 1970 animated film, voiced by Phil Harris, Eva Gabor and Scatman Crothers, is a cheerful Disney classic.
