This film mercilessly sends up the most popular horror movies of its day. A group of teenagers, all of whom seem oddly familiar, begin to be stalked by a masked killer who also looks more than a little recognisable. As Cindy, Brenda, Ray, Shorty and the rest try to escape, the body count rises and the laughs multiply even faster. Every convention, famous scene and cliché of the genre is turned inside out, and none of the audience's favourite scary films escapes this sharp-tongued parody. Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and written by a team including Shawn and Marlon Wayans, the 88-minute 2000 film stars Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans in an outrageous parody comedy.
