A closer look at the story

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is a re-cut, visually restored edition of Dragon Ball Super. The story begins as Beerus, one of the most feared beings in the universe and its God of Destruction, awakens. All Beerus wants is to find a truly worthy opponent who can match him. That search eventually brings him to Earth. If Beerus is left unsatisfied, however, it could spell disaster for the planet, because the God of Destruction is ready to wipe it out. Faced with this enormous danger, Goku and his friends spring into action. Ahead of them lies an epic battle against one of the mightiest foes they have ever encountered. Airing on Fuji TV since 2026, this anime stars Masako Nozawa voicing Goku, Koichi Yamadera as Beerus and Ryo Horikawa as Vegeta.
