Attack on Titan

A closer look at the story

For a century, humanity has lived inside a city ringed by colossal walls, sheltering from the enormous, man-eating Titans that roam outside. In all that time not a single Titan has got in, and the people within have come to believe they are safe. That belief is shattered the day the largest Titan of all breaks through. Having seen it happen with his own eyes, young Eren, with his adoptive sister Mikasa beside him, vows to destroy every last Titan. For the Scouting Legion, who dare to venture beyond the walls, every mission demands courage and costs dearly. Yuki Kaji voices Eren in this anime, which aired from 2013 for four seasons and 87 episodes with Yui Ishikawa and Marina Inoue also in the cast; it is a dark, hard-edged fantasy action story.
