VisionQuest

A closer look at the story

VisionQuest follows a gruelling fight for survival that begins when a bounty is placed on Vision's head. Now there are people out to capture or destroy him, and Vision is never far from danger. The greatest threat he faces, however, does not come only from outside. To stay alive, Vision has to confront his own nature. On top of that, Ultron's influence looms over the struggle like a great shadow. While evading the dangers that pursue him, Vision also tries to resist that influence. This inner battle between holding on to his own identity and surrendering to a dark power drives the story. Created by Terry Matalas and released on Disney+ in 2026, this eight-episode science-fiction series stars Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, with Todd Stashwick and Ruaridh Mollica also in the cast.
