Supernatural

A closer look at the story

When Sam and Dean Winchester were boys, their mother was killed by a mysterious demonic force in a suspicious house fire. After the tragedy their father raised his two sons on the road and trained them like soldiers, teaching them to recognise the ghosts, vampires and evil spirits lurking in the dark corners and back roads of America, and how to destroy them. Years later the brothers reunite to search for their father, who has gone missing during a hunt. Criss-crossing the country in their 1967 Chevrolet Impala, the Winchesters fight every supernatural threat in their path while trying to protect innocent people. Eric Kripke's creation began in 2005 and ran for 15 seasons and 327 episodes on The WB and The CW; Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins star in this supernatural horror series.
