Trolls
Trolls: The happiest princess and the grumpiest troll hit the road
A closer look at the story
The Trolls live a happy, carefree life in their colourful village, far from the dangers of the world. But this cheerful world has a dark side: the huge, gloomy Bergens believe the only way they can ever be happy is by eating a Troll. One day the Bergens raid the village and carry off many of the Trolls. Princess Poppy, the most joyful Troll anyone has ever known, is determined to set out and rescue her friends. The one who will accompany her on the journey, however, is Branch, a suspicious, overly cautious and grumpy loner. This utterly mismatched pair have to learn to put up with each other long enough to finish the mission. Mike Mitchell directs this 92-minute musical family animation from 2016, with Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake and Zooey Deschanel in the voice cast.
