Monsters University
Monsters University: When best friends started out as rivals
A closer look at the story
Mike Wazowski and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan are inseparable today, but that has not always been the case. The story goes back to the years when the two first arrived at Monsters University. From the moment they meet, they cannot stand each other. Campus life, exams and rivalry keep pitting these two mismatched monsters against one another, yet the university will also give them the chance to overcome their differences and become each other's best friend. Dan Scanlon directs this 104-minute 2013 prequel, featuring the voices of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and Helen Mirren, in a fun campus comedy.
