For years Earth's mightiest heroes and their friends have stood guard against dangers no single hero could face alone, but this time the threat comes from deep space. Thanos, a tyrant feared across galaxies, means to gather the six Infinity Stones, relics of almost limitless power, and bend all of reality to his warped vision. Scattered by their own past quarrels, the heroes have to find a way to stand together again if they are to have any chance against him. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the 149-minute 2018 film brings together Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, with Josh Brolin as Thanos, in a superhero adventure on a vast scale.
