Ocean's Eleven
Ocean's Eleven: Three casinos in one night
A closer look at the story
He has been out of prison on parole for less than a day, yet the smooth-talking thief Danny Ocean is busy putting his next big job together. His target is the three Las Vegas casinos belonging to Terry Benedict, a man famous for his ruthlessness, and he means to rob them all on the same night. To do it he brings in his old partner Rusty Ryan and assembles a crew of eleven, each an expert in his own field. Yet this job is not only about money: Danny is also gambling with his chances of winning back his ex-wife, Tess. Success would mean a fortune to last a lifetime; failure would mean facing Benedict's fury. Directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Ted Griffin, the 116-minute 2001 film stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts in a stylish heist film.
