A closer look at the story

A team of gifted illusionists does more than dazzle crowds: in the middle of their shows they pull off real bank robberies, then hand the money out to the people in the audience. While nobody can work out how these spectacular tricks are done, federal agents working with Interpol set out on the team's trail. The magicians, however, always seem to be one step ahead, and it becomes ever harder to tell what is real and what is a trick. Directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Ed Solomon, Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt, the 116-minute 2013 film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Mark Ruffalo in a slick heist thriller.
