Lilo & Stitch

A closer look at the story

Lilo Pelekai is a lonely little girl who lives in Hawaii with her big sister Nani. Having lost their parents early, the two sisters are trying to cope with that emptiness while struggling to keep their heads above water. On an island that looks like paradise from the outside, life is anything but easy for them. One day, however, Lilo's path crosses with that of Stitch, an alien on the run, and everything changes. Stitch, mischievous and unpredictable, causes chaos wherever he goes and is hard to handle, yet with his arrival the sisters begin to feel a family warmth they have not known for a long time. In an adventure that also involves Jumba and Pleakley, the three try to overcome every obstacle in their way together. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, this 108-minute 2025 live-action family film stars Maia Kealoha as Lilo, with Chris Sanders once again voicing Stitch.
