Ice Age: Continental Drift

A closer look at the story

A cataclysm splits the continent apart, and Manny, Diego and Sid find themselves cut off from their families and everyone else, drifting across the ocean on a chunk of ice. To get back, they turn an iceberg into a makeshift ship, and so begins their epic voyage at sea. In this new and unknown world, exotic sea creatures and ruthless pirates lie in wait. Meanwhile Scrat, the prehistoric squirrel, goes wherever his cursed acorn takes him, as always. Directed by Steve Martino and Michael Thurmeier, the 88-minute 2012 animated film brings back the familiar voices of the herd in a fun pirate adventure.
