Leviticus

A closer look at the story

Leviticus is a film that brings horror and romance together in an unusual way. At its heart are two teenage boys who are forced to flee from a violent and terrifying presence. What makes this being so dangerous is that it appears to its victims looking like the one they long for above all others. For these two boys, that someone is each other. The threat they are trying to escape therefore takes on the shape of their deepest feelings and longings, and the line between love and fear becomes increasingly blurred. Their struggle to survive also becomes a process of confronting their own emotions. Written and directed by Adrian Chiarella, this 88-minute horror film from 2026 stars Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen and Mia Wasikowska.
