In the Grey

A closer look at the story

Somewhere out of sight, a secret unit of highly skilled operatives goes about its work. Their job is to carry out near-impossible missions that no one else would take on. After a brutal dictator makes off with a fortune worth billions, the team is handed a new target: get the money back. But this is no ordinary operation; it is an impossible heist. Against the despot's power, his men and the order he has built, every move the team makes carries enormous risk. As the mission unfolds, things go wrong in unexpected ways, and the plan becomes a lethal contest of tactics, trickery and survival. Working out who is fooling whom becomes as hard as staying alive. Guy Ritchie wrote and directed this 97-minute 2026 action thriller, which stars Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González.
