Jurassic World Rebirth

A closer look at the story

The story picks up five years after Jurassic World Dominion. Earth's ecosystem has become largely unlivable for dinosaurs, and the survivors have retreated to the tropical regions where they once thrived. Covert operations specialist Zora Bennett is put in charge of a skilled team for a top-secret assignment: collecting genetic material from the three most colossal dinosaurs on the planet. Those samples could be the key to a medicine with miraculous benefits for humanity. During the mission, however, Zora's team crosses paths with a civilian family whose boat has overturned. Together they end up marooned on an island and confront there an ominous and startling discovery that has been concealed from the world for decades. Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp, the 134-minute 2025 film stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey in a science-fiction adventure.
