Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

A closer look at the story

As the world collapses, the young Furiosa is torn away from the hidden haven that was her home, a lush refuge of many mothers, and falls into the hands of a huge biker horde led by the ruthless warlord Dementus. Sweeping across the Wasteland, the gang eventually reaches the Citadel ruled by Immortan Joe. As a merciless war for dominance breaks out between the two tyrants, Furiosa, torn from her home, must survive trial after trial. Her one aim is to find a way back one day, and she patiently gathers everything she will need to do it. George Miller co-wrote this 149-minute 2024 film with Nico Lathouris and directed it; it stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke in an epic action film.
