Dumb and Dumber: A suitcase full of money on the road to Aspen
A closer look at the story
Lloyd and Harry are two close friends who cannot hold down a job and whose stupidity defies description. One day the beautiful Mary leaves behind a suitcase containing a large sum of money before heading off to Aspen, and the pair, having found it, decide to take it back to her. Their decision sets off a crazy road trip that leaves police, crooks and everyone else they meet utterly bewildered. When they finally reach Aspen, Lloyd and Harry start living like kings on the money in the case and compete with each other to win Mary's heart. Directed by Peter Farrelly and written by Peter and Bobby Farrelly with Bennett Yellin, the 107-minute 1994 film stars Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels and Lauren Holly in an outrageous comedy.
