Blink Twice
Blink Twice: The dark side of a dream holiday on a billionaire's island
A closer look at the story
While working at a fundraising gala, cocktail waitress Frida meets tech billionaire Slater King. The charismatic Slater surprises her with an invitation she never expected: a dream holiday with him and his friends on his private island. For Frida, it means the door to a completely different life swinging open. The island truly is breathtaking: stunning views, beautiful people, champagne that never runs dry and dance parties that go on late into the night. Yet despite this flawless picture, Frida senses that something is wrong. Something sinister lurks beneath the island's glossy, lush surface, and as the days go by the feeling grows heavier. Directed by Zoë Kravitz, who wrote it with E.T. Feigenbaum, this 103-minute 2024 thriller stars Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat.
