The Forever Purge

A closer look at the story

Once a year, for a single night lasting exactly 12 hours, every crime is legal during the Purge, and once again it has come to an end. At least, that is what everyone thinks. This time, however, every rule is smashed: a sect of lawless raiders decides that the Purge should not stop at daybreak but should, on the contrary, never stop at all. The violence spills onto the streets, and the group sets out after a band of immigrants they intend to punish. Adela and those with her, together with the Tucker family whose paths cross theirs, must flee side by side to survive a chaos in which everywhere has become hunting ground. James DeMonaco wrote and Everardo Gout directed this 103-minute 2021 entry in the series, starring Ana de la Reguera, Josh Lucas and Will Patton.
