Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City — the nightmare Umbrella left behind
A closer look at the story
Raccoon City was once a bustling place that grew fast thanks to the pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation. Ever since the company pulled out, however, Raccoon has been slowly withering into a dying Midwestern town. What remains is not only deserted streets and empty buildings; just beneath the surface, a great evil has been quietly growing. When that evil breaks out one night, the people of the town are changed beyond return. A small group of survivors, among them figures such as Claire, Chris, Jill, Leon and Wesker, must join forces to expose the dark truth behind Umbrella and live to see the morning. Written and directed by Johannes Roberts, this 107-minute 2021 action-horror film stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell and Avan Jogia.
