The Good Dinosaur
The Good Dinosaur: Friendship in a world the asteroid missed
A closer look at the story
What if the great asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs had missed Earth, and dinosaurs had never died out? The Good Dinosaur is set in a world that begins with that question. Its hero is Arlo, a young Apatosaurus who lives with his family. Arlo has to set out on an epic journey. On the way he gains a companion he never expected: a small human child. The unusual friendship that blossoms between them will change Arlo's life. Directed by Peter Sohn and written by Meg LeFauve, the 93-minute 2015 animated film, voiced by Raymond Ochoa, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright and Sam Elliott, is an emotional adventure.
