Fantastic Mr. Fox
Fantastic Mr. Fox: A crafty fox against three farmers
A closer look at the story
Mr. Fox is bored with the life he is leading. To shake things up, he hatches a daring plan to raid the three wealthy farmers of the area, and starts stealing their chickens, ducks and turkeys. Fed up with sharing their stock with the sly fox, the irate farmers set out for revenge and will stop at nothing to wipe out him and his family. Cornered, Mr. Fox has to outwit the farmers at every turn to save his family. Adapted by Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach from Roald Dahl's book and directed by Anderson, the 87-minute 2009 stop-motion film, voiced by George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Jason Schwartzman, is a witty adventure.
