Family Guy

A closer look at the story

Family Guy follows the chaotic life of the Griffin family with a sharp-tongued sense of humour that knows no limits and cares nothing for political correctness. At the head of the household is Peter, whose clumsiness constantly lands him in trouble, and his wife Lois, who patiently puts up with everything he does. Each of their three children is a world of their own: eldest child Meg, the least popular girl in town; middle child Chris, who may not be the sharpest but is passionate about movies; and Stewie, a genius baby determined to get rid of his mother and conquer the world. Completing the household is Brian, a talking dog who, martini in hand, tries both to keep Stewie under control and to put his own life in order. Created by Seth MacFarlane, who personally voices Peter, Brian and Stewie, the series has aired on FOX since 1999 as an animated comedy packed with pop-culture references.
