A closer look at the story

Laura and Massimo are a couple caught up in a passionate, stormy romance. Despite everything they have been through, they are back together and have decided to turn a new page. This fresh start, however, will not be as smooth as they imagined. Massimo's family ties, and the dark world that comes with them, cast a heavy shadow over their relationship. On top of that, a mysterious man enters Laura's life, determined to win her heart and her trust whatever it takes. Laura finds herself caught between Massimo, to whom she is passionately bound, and this stranger who opens the door to an entirely different life. Directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes and adapted from Blanka Lipińska's novel, this 110-minute 2022 Polish romantic drama stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Michele Morrone and Simone Susinna.
