When her vampire love Edward Cullen leaves Forks, Bella Swan's world falls apart. Feeling as though her heart has turned to stone, Bella eventually notices that whenever she puts herself in danger she sees a vision of Edward, and she begins throwing herself into greater and greater risks. She finds comfort in her growing closeness with Jacob Black, but Jacob has a supernatural secret of his own: he is a werewolf. Bella is suddenly caught up in a conflict that has raged for centuries, and her longing to be with Edward whatever the cost puts her on a more dangerous path than ever. Directed by Chris Weitz from Melissa Rosenberg's script, based on Stephenie Meyer's book, the 131-minute 2009 film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in a romantic fantasy drama.
