Thor: The Dark World
Thor: The Dark World — an enemy who wants the universe in darkness
A closer look at the story
While Thor fights to bring peace back to the universe, a very old threat resurfaces: a primeval people under the vengeful Malekith is determined to drag the universe back into darkness. Facing an enemy that not even Odin and Asgard can hold back, Thor must set out on the most dangerous and most personal journey he has yet undertaken. That journey brings him back together with Jane Foster and demands that he risk everything to save them all. Alan Taylor directs from a script by Yost, Markus and McFeely; the 112-minute 2013 film reunites Hemsworth and Portman, with Christopher Eccleston playing Malekith, in a fantasy superhero adventure.
