You+Me - Against the World

A closer look at the story

Alma Lancaster comes from a wealthy family and, from the outside, seems to have a perfect life. Her family is convinced she is studying law. Alma's real dream, however, is something else entirely: making films. Without her family knowing, she pursues this passion in secret. At university she crosses paths with Vadim Arcadi, a magnetic loner and rebel whose past is far from easy. Forced to work together on a student film, the two clash constantly at first. Over time, though, they grow closer and, in spite of themselves, fall in love. Yet an unseen shadow hangs over their romance: someone is watching them. Whoever it is seems determined to drive them apart and reveal secrets that could ruin the lives of both Alma and Vadim. Adapted from Emma Green's novel and directed by Manon Gaurin, who wrote the script with Éliane Vigneron and Alix Letribot, this 94-minute 2026 romantic drama stars Vittoria Di Savoia as Alma and Lucas Barski as Vadim.
