Puss in Boots

A closer look at the story

Long before his path ever crossed Shrek's, Puss in Boots had already made a name for himself as a skilled swordfighter, a charismatic lover and a wanted outlaw. This time, though, he faces a great adventure that will turn him into a true hero. Setting out to save his town, Puss is joined by the tough, streetwise Kitty Softpaws and the brains of the operation, Humpty Dumpty. The trio's target is the goose that lays golden eggs, the greatest treasure in the land of the giants. But the journey will put his courage to the test. This is the true tale of the cat behind the legend and the boots. Directed by Chris Miller, the 90-minute 2011 film features the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek and Zach Galifianakis in an adventure animation.
