A Working Man

A closer look at the story

Levon Cade once served with distinction in the military and spent years on covert operations; he has put all that behind him and now leads a simple, quiet life as a construction worker. He wants to forget his past and live like an ordinary man. Then one day Jenny, the young daughter of his boss and someone he thinks of as family, is abducted by human traffickers. Levon has no choice but to call on the old skills he has not used in years. His search to bring Jenny home pulls him into a web of corruption far larger than he ever imagined. The further he follows the trail, the more he comes face to face with a dark conspiracy in which officials themselves are involved in the trafficking. Directed by David Ayer and adapted by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone from Chuck Dixon's novel, this 116-minute 2025 action thriller stars Jason Statham as Levon.
