Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

A closer look at the story

While Manny and Ellie eagerly await the birth of their first baby, Sid adopts some eggs he has found. The hatchlings turn out to be dinosaurs, and Sid's eagerness to start a family of his own soon lands him in trouble. Diego, who worries that he has gone soft, sets out with the others to rescue Sid, and they find themselves in a mysterious underground world ruled by dinosaurs. There they are guided by Buck, a fearless one-eyed weasel who hunts dinosaurs. Directed by Carlos Saldanha, the 94-minute 2009 sequel, with Simon Pegg joining the voice cast as Buck, is a colourful adventure comedy.
